The AI opens the call. You take it from qualified.

The AI Parallel Dialer is live in Ring.io on Growth and Enterprise plans.

It calls several contacts at once, sorts every answer into human or machine, and can have an AI agent open the human calls and ask your qualifying questions. When the answers fit, the agent transfers the live call to you - with the prospect's answers already on your screen.

Here is what we decided while building it, and why.

The AI opens. You close.

The agent handles the first part of the call: the greeting, the reason for calling, and your qualifying questions, asked in your words.

It does not book meetings. It does not handle objections. It does not negotiate or close.

That limit is deliberate. The opening of a cold call is the same every time, so it can be handed off. Everything after it isn't. An agent trying to run the whole call would be worst at exactly the part your reps are good at, and your prospects would notice before you did.

You can also skip the agent and take every connect yourself. Two settings cover it: what happens when you're free, and what happens when you're already on a call.

AI Automations panel, Human tab: if you are available, connect the call to me or let the AI agent open the call; if you are not available, connect to an AI agent or hang up

If you're busy, an agent can take the connect and qualify it for a human - or the call can end politely. Your call.

A throttle, not a line count

Most parallel dialers sell you a number of lines. We don't print one, because ours moves.

You pick a pace for the session and Ring.io adjusts how many calls it starts at the same time inside that pace as the block runs:

  • Grasshopper - most cautious, keeps dialing one at a time
  • Ninja - balanced pace for everyday dialing
  • Sensei - faster, with more simultaneous attempts
  • Bruce Lee - most aggressive, highest simultaneous dialing
Dialing throttle control with four modes and a tooltip explaining each: Grasshopper, Ninja, Sensei, Bruce Lee

Any fixed number we advertised would be wrong a minute into the block. Describing the pace is honest, and it puts the trade-off - more connects against more dropped calls - where it belongs: with the rep running the list.

Machines get handled before you hear anything

Most of the volume in parallel dialing is voicemail. That half never needed a person.

Ring.io detects human or non-human before the call reaches you. On a machine, it either leaves a pre-recorded voicemail drop from your library or skips and moves to the next contact. Either way, when a call never becomes a conversation, it can send a follow-up SMS and email from your templates.

AI Automations panel, Non-human tab: leave a pre-recorded drop or skip and move on, with SMS and email follow-up templates switched on

You arrive briefed

When the transfer happens, the prospect's answers appear on screen as cards - availability, current tools, team size, whatever you asked - along with a summary of the conversation so far. You read it before you say hello.

The summary - what the agent asked and what the prospect answered - is written back to Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive or Zoho CRM.

Disclosure, recording and consent

If you want prospects told they're speaking with an AI, you can turn that on as a setting and write it into the script. Recording and two-party consent follow the same rules as the rest of Ring.io, through the consent automation you already have.

What it doesn't do yet

  • Outbound calls only, in English.
  • The agent qualifies. It doesn't close.
  • Per-contact AI voicemail drops, holding a connect until you're free, and automatic retries are on the way.

Getting to it

It dials from anything the Power Dialer already works from: a filtered CRM view, a PowerList, or a spreadsheet you upload.

Available on Growth and Enterprise plans. AI agent talk time is included - there's no separate per-minute charge for the agent leg.

Full detail, step by step: AI Parallel Dialer

feature:
AI Parallel Dialer

One line, one rep, four rings and a voicemail greeting.

The AI Parallel Dialer changes the shape, not the effort. Ring.io starts several calls at once at the pace you set, handles the machines without you, and only brings you a call once a human has answered - and, if you want it, once an AI agent has already asked your qualifying questions and heard the right answers back.
